Terms of Service

Hong Kong Wellness Hub ("HWH", "the Platform") is operated by JDCoreDev Ltd ("JDCoreDev", "we", "us", "our") as an intermediary, discovery, content, matching, and scheduling-link platform. By accessing or using the Platform you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms apply to all visitors, people who request discovery calls ("Clients"), and registered providers and practices ("Providers"). By using the Platform, submitting a discovery-call request, or creating a Provider account, you accept these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Providers confirm they are lawfully able to offer their services in Hong Kong.

2. What the Platform is — and is not

  • HWH is a discovery, content, matching, and scheduling-link intermediary that helps you find independent wellness and therapy providers and request a free introductory discovery call.
  • We do not provide clinical, medical, psychological, or therapeutic services, and using the Platform does not create a practitioner-client relationship between you and JDCoreDev.
  • Providers and practices are independent professionals, solely responsible for their own services, professional conduct, qualifications, compliance, insurance, and tax. We do not employ, supervise, endorse, or guarantee any Provider.
  • We do not process session payments and do not store card, bank, checkout, invoice, or refund details. Any payment or booking occurs with an external provider under that provider's own terms.
  • The Platform is not an emergency or crisis service (see the Disclaimer and the Get Help Now page).

3. Accounts and authentication

Provider accounts use passwordless ("magic-link") email authentication. You are responsible for the security of the email account you register and for activity under your account, and you must provide accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts under section 11.

4. Discovery calls and the no-client-data rule

The discovery-call request form collects limited personal data to arrange a free introductory call; it is handled under the Privacy Policy and PICS. Clients and Providers must not submit third-party client personal data, case details, or clinical records through any Platform form (including onboarding and profile tools). The free discovery call is an introduction only and creates no obligation on any party to proceed to paid services.

5. Provider and practice content

Providers grant JDCoreDev a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting, and distribute the content they submit (profiles, articles, talks/events, images) for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. Providers represent that they own or are licensed to use all content they submit and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

Provider content must comply with our Community and Content Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. In particular, content must not make curative or preventive claims for conditions caught by the Undesirable Medical Advertisements Ordinance (Cap. 231), must not guarantee outcomes, must state accurate and verifiable credentials, and must not include identifiable client information without appropriate consent. We may screen, decline, edit for formatting, unpublish, or remove content that breaches these Terms or the Guidelines, including via our automated content gate.

6. Concierge and matching

The Platform's concierge and matching features are informational aids only. Their output is not advice, diagnosis, assessment, or a recommendation that any particular Provider is suitable for you. You are responsible for your own decisions about which Provider to contact.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform; submit false, misleading, infringing, or unlawful content; scrape or harvest data except as permitted; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; interfere with Platform security or operation; or use the Platform to send spam or unlawful communications.

8. Third-party links, bookings, and payments

The Platform links to and hands off to third-party services (for example external booking, calendar, payment, and social services). We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, or their terms, and your use of them is at your own risk and governed by their terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its name, branding, design, text, and software (excluding Provider content), is owned by or licensed to JDCoreDev and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

10. Disclaimers, liability, and indemnity

The Platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our Disclaimer (not medical advice; not a crisis service; independent professionals) is incorporated by reference.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71), JDCoreDev is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from (a) the acts or omissions of Providers; (b) third-party services; (c) reliance on concierge or matching output; or (d) content submitted by Providers. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Providers agree to indemnify JDCoreDev against claims arising from their content, their services to clients, or their breach of these Terms or the Guidelines.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, for legal or regulatory reasons, or where there is risk to the Platform or its users. Providers may close their account at any time; we will handle associated personal data under the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by updating the effective date below and, for Providers, by email to the registered account. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Privacy

Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy and Personal Information Collection Statement (PICS), incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, or employment relationship. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and PICS, the Disclaimer, and the Community and Content Guidelines, form the entire agreement between you and JDCoreDev regarding the Platform.
